2U Vented Cantilever Rack Shelf — 16in Deep, 50 lb Capacity
Product description
Universal 19" compatibility: The shelf is a 2U, front-mount cantilever tray designed to install in virtually any standard 19-inch server rack or equipment cabinet. It provides an internal usable depth of 16 inches (41 cm) and is intended for non-rackmount devices such as small servers, network appliances, AV components, and accessories.
Vented design for better cooling: The shelf plate is vented to promote consistent airflow across devices placed on the tray, helping to dissipate heat in server rooms, home studios, offices, or AV cabinets. The open pattern encourages rack-level circulation to extend component life and reduce hotspots.
Heavy-duty construction and capacity: Manufactured from SPCC commercial cold-rolled steel, the fixed rack shelf is built for durability in commercial or industrial environments. The unit is rated to support up to 50 lb (approximately 22.7–23 kg), making it suitable for moderate-weight equipment, tools, or peripherals that need a secure shelf inside the rack.
What’s included and compliance: The package ships with the necessary square-hole nuts and mounting screws for front-mount installation. The tray is a fixed cantilever style and is TAA compliant for procurement needs. It is backed by a lifetime warranty and free lifetime technical support (24/5), ensuring long-term service and assistance.
Pros
- Vented plate improves rack airflow
- SPCC cold-rolled steel construction for durability
- Includes mounting hardware; TAA compliant with lifetime support
Cons
- Front lip can reduce clearance for the space below
- Depth may be shorter than some comparable shelves
- 50 lb capacity limits heavier server installations
VerdictThis 2U vented cantilever shelf is a sturdy, no-frills way to add storage for non-rackmount devices. It delivers reliable ventilation and solid steel construction, plus included mounting hardware and TAA-compliant lifetime support. Watch the front lip and limited depth/weight if you need full clearance or heavier gear.

Exactly what I needed
Provided extra depth and a solid platform for a fiber box and router. I anchored it to plywood since I wasn't mounting it to a rack.

Check the depth carefully
I didn’t confirm the internal depth and it was too short for my rack. The parts are high quality if the dimensions match your needs.

Would buy again

Not actually full 2U depth
This unit was noticeably shorter than my other shelves and required extra force to align the screw holes. I do not recommend it if you need consistent depth across shelves.

Comes complete
Arrived with all the necessary screws and square-hole nuts. Feels like it can carry more than the rating; I used it to support a mining box and it barely flexed.

Practical ventilated rack shelf
A dependable option for 19" racks. The venting helps keep devices cool and the cantilever tray secures items while freeing up usable rack space.

Holds a Dell r510 well
Installed a Dell r510 into a 19" rack on this shelf; it fit perfectly and shows no bending under the load.

High quality but front lip may intrude
Heavier, thicker steel than I expected and it came with the square-hole nuts and screws that install easily. Once mounted with all four screws it’s very rigid. The downside: the reinforced front lip blocks some of the space below, which could interfere with pulling out a unit underneath.
