CAT6A Outdoor Ethernet Cable — 100ft Direct‑Burial Network Cable
Product description
Built for burial and exposed outdoor use, this CAT6A cable features a durable LLDPE outer jacket engineered to resist ultraviolet degradation, moisture intrusion, corrosion, abrasion and wide temperature swings. The weather‑resistant sheath preserves signal integrity for long outdoor runs and protects the inner conductors against the elements.
Internally the cable uses tightly paired copper conductors designed for high‑speed data transfer. It supports 10Gbps transmission rates and is terminated with gold‑plated RJ45 plugs to improve contact reliability and reduce oxidation. The twisted‑pair construction and shielding characteristics help minimize crosstalk and electromagnetic interference for stable gaming, streaming and surveillance feeds.
The jacket material balances toughness with pliability, letting the cable tolerate repeated bends and be routed through carpets, walls and conduit. Its stiffness aids in feeding through tight passages and up wall cavities, while remaining flexible enough for garden and patio wiring. It’s suitable for outdoor, indoor and utility closet applications.
This cable is intended for common outdoor network tasks: linking houses to garages, connecting security cameras, sensors, automated gates, or supplying wired connections to smart TVs, routers, switches, printers and PCs. It is backward compatible with CAT6, CAT5e and CAT5 devices for broad interoperability.
You will receive one 100FT CAT6A outdoor Ethernet cable, two protective dust covers for the RJ45 ends, and twenty zip ties for tidy cable runs. The plugs include a non‑slip sheath for extra strain relief at the connector and the zip ties help secure the run during installation.
Pros
- Rugged LLDPE jacket suitable for direct burial
- Supports 10Gbps with gold‑plated RJ45 terminations
- Flexible enough for indoor and outdoor routing
Cons
- Thicker and firmer than slim patch cords
- No watertight gland connectors included

VerdictThis 100ft CAT6A cable is built for outdoor runs: a tough LLDPE outer jacket, twisted copper pairs and gold‑plated RJ45 ends provide reliable 10Gbps links with good resistance to crosstalk and interference. It’s flexible enough for indoor and outdoor routing yet firm enough to push through walls. The package includes protective dust caps and zip ties for neat installs. Ideal for extending networks
