Stovetop Espresso Moka Pot Coffee Maker — Cast Aluminum, Wood-Grain Handle (9-Cup)
Product description
What’s included: the moka pot arrives as the standard three-piece assembly — a lower water chamber, a funnel-shaped filter basket for ground coffee, and an upper collector with hinged lid. A rubber gasket and top filter plate are fitted, plus a pre-installed safety valve.
Materials and build: constructed from thick-walled cast aluminum for robust heat retention and even distribution. The handle is a heat-resistant, wood-grain-style design with a non-slip finish to reduce burn risk during handling. The safety valve and sealing components are made to be durable and long-lasting.
Sizes: available in multiple capacities to suit different needs, typically ranging from 3 cups up to 12 cups of espresso-style output. The 9-cup option provides several concentrated servings — good for sharing or larger mugs when diluted.
Compatibility and limits: designed for use on gas, electric, and ceramic stoves. It is not suitable for induction cooktops or for use in conventional ovens. The brewer operates on direct stovetop heat and should be watched during the final stage of extraction.
Use and maintenance: fill the bottom chamber with water up to the safety valve level, add medium-fine grounds into the funnel without tamping, reassemble and heat on medium. When the coffee stops flowing or begins to sputter, remove from heat to prevent over-extraction. Clean by rinsing the parts; an initial run with plain water is advisable to remove any manufacturing residues.

VerdictA solid, no-frills stovetop espresso maker built from heavy cast aluminum that retains and distributes heat well. Thin metal affects extraction
The walls felt too thin and it struggled to hold a steady simmer, so the coffee under-extracted. I replaced it with a sturdier model.

Worth paying a bit more
A little extra cost was justified by the performance.

Large batch, strong espresso
The 12-cup version produces a big amount of good espresso — enough for two 8–10 oz servings. Quality feels solid, handle stays cool, fits gas grates well.

Perfect pour for small servings
Pours cleanly and fits euro-style coffee portions. Not intended for large mug-sized servings.

Morning peace restored
Makes two generous cups in the larger size. Take it off the burner as soon as it finishes gurgling. Well built and easy to use — a pleasant addition to our mornings.

Great for beginners — rinse first
Ideal switch from a drip pot. The 12-shot fills two large cups. Run plain water once; there were minor metal flecks out of the box.

My favorite brew method now
This quickly became my go-to moka pot. The handle is comfortable and the pot extracts consistently. Everything seems well made.

Nice brewer but handle slips
The 3-cup model brews well and feels pleasant to use. The handle lacks the same firm grip as some other brands and can slide off a dish rack. It’s also quieter and doesn’t give the usual loud signal when done.

Simple and reliable
I wanted espresso without a complicated machine. It performs well and cleans up easily. Happy so far.
