Paw Inspired Critter Box Cage Liner — Raised Sides, Midwest Size
Product description
Walled Design to Contain Messes: The liner arrives fully assembled with raised sides that form a shallow box around the bedding area. Those walls help prevent litter, droppings, and liquids from spilling onto floors, so cage interiors stay tidier between full cleanings.
Leak-Resistant Corners and Base: The perimeter and corners are built to provide full coverage, protecting even the cage’s turnings against seepage. The backing is made to be waterproof so liquids are held in the liner rather than soaking through to the enclosure base or floor beneath.
Correct Size for Midwest-Style Cages: Each liner measures approximately 24" x 47" (61 x 119 cm) and is supplied ready-to-use. That footprint is intended to match common Midwest cage dimensions for guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets, rats, hamsters, hedgehogs, chinchillas and other small animals.
Absorbent, Fast-Drying Core: The working surface is constructed to pull moisture away from the top layer so your pet’s resting area remains drier. The absorbent layer spans the whole panel so it doubles as bedding, a pee pad and corner protection without separate inserts.
Soft, Low-Dust Velvet Fleece: The top layer is a smooth velvet-style fleece engineered to be gentle on feet and fur. It’s made to be low in dust, reducing airborne particles compared with loose bedding and helping maintain a healthier environment for small animals.
Independent Product Statement: This item is sold under the Paw Inspired name and is not produced or distributed by Mid-West Metal Products Company, Inc., owner of the MidWest Homes for Pets trademark.

Did the job for my bunny
Bought for use on my bed while my rabbit lounged. Walls didn’t stay perfectly upright and he chewed the edge a bit, but it’s washable, easy to unsnap, and controlled the mess better than pads.

Disappointing absorbency
I liked the tall sides and snap corners, and it swept nicely, but the top layer stayed wet and urine soaked through to the underside. Not hygienic for me, so I’m returning them.

So simple to launder
Really easy to clean — toss in the washer and it comes back like new. Deep cleans are far less of a hassle with this liner.

Worth the purchase
At first the sides looked like they might flop, but once installed it fit perfectly. Soft for napping and well worth the cost for ease of use.

Classroom cleanup made easy
Raised edges make sweeping simple and the liner stayed tidy in our classroom pet cage. Durable, quick to snap together, soft but a bit thin — fits Midwest cages well.

Cuts cleaning time in half
More costly than basic liners, but it made cage maintenance much faster and kept leaks from seeping over the sides. Cleans up well and I bought a second one.

Reliable for long-term use
I recommend these across several small-pet groups. Washed gently with mild detergent and vinegar, the velvet remains soft, stains lift, and the waterproof base hasn’t harmed floors. Well sewn and long lasting.

Very good fit for our cage
Available in different sizes to suit many enclosures. Ours matched its dimensions well and was simple to clean — a solid purchase.

Nice fit and softer than towels
Added this to our new cage and it fits perfectly. One side is plush and the other looks waterproof — much better than using blankets or shavings for guinea pigs. Will likely buy a spare.

My son now does all the cage changes
Far easier than fleece or absorbent pads. The semi-rigid sheet drops in without clips, doesn’t flop when wet, and swaps out quickly. It washes cleaner than our fleece used to and droppings sweep off the surface rather than getting tangled in fibers.

Sizing was a little off
I planned to use this in my 2x4 setup but the liner was slightly smaller than expected. I adjusted by keeping my 2x5 pen and extending with extra fleece. The pigs love it and it still works well despite the fit issue.
