16-Panel Small Animal Playpen (12"×15") — White
Product description
Upgraded design: This version adds cable ties and anti-slip pads to the original panel set. The cable ties secure the panels together to reduce movement, while the non-slip mats help the pen stay put on hard floors and prevent scratches. Corners are rounded and smoothed to discourage chewing and reduce sharp edges.
Size and materials: The set contains 16 wire-sheet panels, each measuring approximately 12" × 15", made from coated metal wire. ABS plastic connectors join the panels, allowing tool-free assembly. The pads are thin non-slip mats that sit beneath each panel to protect flooring.
Configurable assembly: With 16 panels and 28 ABS connectors you can arrange the pen into many shapes — squares, rectangles, longer runs or enclosures of different proportions. The modular layout makes it easy to set up a wider, low barrier for ground-level animals or a compact play area for smaller pets.
What's in the box: 16 wire panels, 28 ABS connectors, 50 cable ties for added security, 16 non-slip mats, one small mallet for seating connectors, an instruction manual, and after-sales customer support. The pack provides everything needed for initial setup and basic customization.
Intended use and limitations: Designed for guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets, rats, hamsters, hedgehogs, small puppies and other similar-sized pets. Not recommended for large dogs or animals that can exert strong force or make high jumps. Indoor use is recommended unless extra anchoring or supervision is provided.
Customer support: The seller offers responsive customer service for pre- and post-sale questions and replacement parts if required.
Pros
- Highly configurable layout with 16 panels
- Non-slip mats protect floors and improve grip
- Comes with cable ties, mallet and full connector set
Cons
- Too low for jump-prone or larger pets
- Clips and connectors can fail under heavy impact
- Some panels may show weak welds in rare cases
VerdictA versatile, adjustable play area that gives small pets a safe, contained space. The package includes enough panels and accessories for many layouts and the added non-slip mats and cable ties improve stability and floor protection. Not suitable for large or strong jumpers; consider extra height or reinforcement for very active animals.

Turn panels sideways for a longer barrier
Needed to block off a room for our dog and found laying the panels on their side extended the length perfectly. Solved the issue quickly.

Good quality and economical
I set this around my hamster cage to keep cats away. I added child-proof locks and fashioned a small zip-tie door secured with a key-chain hook — worked well for my setup.

Handy and easy to use
Very straightforward to set up and it gives my guinea pigs a nicer living area. I'm pleased with it.

Great for protecting the tree
Used as a grid barrier to keep cats and dogs away from the Christmas tree. Bought extra sets to stop a jumper cat — once expanded it did the job. Easy to remove when needed; may take multiple boxes for large areas.

Cheap and basic
It's inexpensive and a bit flimsy. Pieces don't always stay seated in the holders. Fine for short-term or temporary use.

Clips are decent but could be stronger
The connector clips hold the panels together, but they're not indestructible. If a section falls, it can bring the rest down, so extra fastening helps.

Safe play space for my guinea pigs
Gave my two guinea pigs a contained place to roam without letting them loose in the room. I like that it breaks down compactly for storage and that you can arrange panels wider rather than taller, which suits ground-dwelling pets. Sturdy enough and easy to customize.

Not practical for jumpy small dogs
Too short for my mini Yorkshire (1.5 kg) — he jumped over it. Lacks enough hooking points for a truly stable setup. Metal is heavy and sturdy, but function is limited by height and connectors.

Solid quality and simple assembly
Handles well and goes together without trouble.

Flexible but too open for tiny pets
Bought a second set because it's so adaptable. Great for young tortoises and baby bunnies, but hamsters and some rats can slip through the bars. Height is about two feet, so larger jumpers may escape.

Useful lightweight room divider
Bought to section off part of a room for my small dog. Lightweight yet stable, easy to move and assemble, and you only use as many panels as needed. Low enough to step over when required.

Fits my litter-training needs
Simple to assemble and take apart. A few weld points on bars seemed loose out of the box but not problematic yet. My rabbit lounges in it while we work on training, though I expect he may clear the top as he grows.
