Double-Layer Cork Plant Coasters — 8 in (Set of 4)
Product description
Materials and build - Each coaster is made from high-density fine-particle natural oak cork laminated to 100% eucalyptus wood fiber without chemical additives. They are non-toxic and virtually odor-free, with heat-resistant properties for use under warm dishes or pots.
Size and thickness - The set contains four round coasters, each 8 inches (20 cm) in diameter and approximately 0.4 inches (1 cm) thick. The layered construction gives extra rigidity and a smooth, finished edge for a tidy look.
Protection and use - These cork pads lift planters off surfaces to prevent scratches and help contain loose soil and minor water drips. Because they do not absorb large amounts of liquid, they are ideal where pots are allowed to drain first or for use as trivets, placemats, or decor bases.
Versatility - Beyond plant use, they function as hot pads, drying mats, utensil rests, coaster bases, and craft material. They suit indoor and sheltered outdoor spots like patios, balconies, kitchen counters and shelves.
Care - The coasters come as a set of four 8-inch pieces. Clean them by wiping with a damp cloth and drying thoroughly before reuse. Their sturdy construction supports routine repositioning and handling.
Pros
- Solid, supportive double-layer construction
- Natural, non-toxic materials and heat resistant
- Multiuse — plant pads, trivets, and craft bases
Cons
- Not absorbent — won’t soak up excess water

VerdictThese double-layer cork coasters give stable support and surface protection for small to medium pots. Surprised by the craftsmanship
I bought a multi-size grouping and they exceeded my expectations. The finish fits our mid-century decor and they work well as plant pads — I’ve even used one briefly as a trivet. I ordered an additional set.

Many uses around the house
Started in the kitchen but ended up everywhere — under plants, drinks and decorative items. I rinse them lightly and pat dry; don’t soak them. They even kept a glass bowl from sliding during a small tremor.

Performs well outdoors
They do the job. Color fades a bit in sun, but they remain intact and functional.

Thick and protective
Good thickness — they’ve kept condensation from damaging my furniture under several plants.

Prevents stains but won’t soak up water
These protect surfaces from water marks, but they are not absorbent. Water will bead and run off if there’s a lot, so make sure pots drain before setting them down. For routine use under small pots or drained planters they’re tidy and attractive. I’ll buy more for that purpose.

More stable than single-layer cork
The double-layer build makes these much sturdier than standard cork trivets.
