2 Pairs Ice Cleats Traction Grips for Boots with 10 Steel Studs
Product description
You receive two complete pairs of traction cleats per selected size. Choose from S, M, L, XL, and XXL: S (Women 4–5.5 / Men 2.5–4), M (Women 6–8 / Men 4.5–6.5), L (Women 8.5–11 / Men 7–9.5), XL (Women 11.5–14 / Men 10–12.5), XXL (Women 14.5–17 / Men 13–15.5). Each package contains the cleats only (two pairs), packaged compactly for easy storage.
The body is molded from thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), a tough, cold-resistant rubbery material that stays flexible in frigid temperatures down to around -40°C. Ten heat-treated steel studs are integrated into each cleat to bite into ice and hard-packed snow. The studs are corrosion-resistant and positioned to provide forward and lateral grip while walking.
These are slip-on grips that stretch over footwear and seat on the sole and heel; their elastic design lets them fit a wide range of shoes and boots from casual sneakers to bulkier hiking boots. They fold flat and are light enough to keep in a pocket, bag, or glove compartment so you can put them on quickly when surfaces freeze.
Intended use includes walking on sidewalks, shoveling, winter strolls, and non-technical hiking on icy trails. They are not made for high-speed running or technical ice climbing. To apply, stretch the front over the toe of the shoe, then pull the rear section over the heel until the cleat is seated snugly on the sole. Remove and rinse off snow and grit after use to prolong life.
Pros
- Firm traction from ten steel studs
- Remains flexible in extreme cold (-40°C)
- Compact, lightweight, and easy to slip on
Cons
- May fit too tightly on some boot shapes
- Not suitable for running or fast-paced activities
- Occasional sets can come off on very worn or loose footwear
VerdictThese slip-on crampons offer dependable traction for walking, shoveling, and casual hikes on icy surfaces. Constructed from flexible TPE and fitted with steel studs, they remain usable in extreme cold and are easy to carry and apply. They aren’t intended for running or technical mountaineering, and very loose or very worn boots can allow a set to come off. Overall, they’re a practical, lightweight

Stretchy fit but can slip on softer boots
The elastic holds tightly and made winter walks safer on slush and icy spots. I ordered several sets; one pair did come off a softer winter boot while walking. If your footwear is sturdy, the fit should be fine; very flexible or worn boots may cause occasional slippage.

During a heavy Nor’easter I wore these while shoveling and walking. I’m 74 and didn’t slip once. They really work—very reassuring in bad weather.

Solid traction and versatile fit — XXL tested
I bought these and am impressed with the build and materials. The TPE is flexible but tough, and the steel studs grip well on ice. The pack includes two separate bags, each holding one pair, so you get two pairs total. I tried both XL and XXL on several shoes—trail sneakers and insulated boots—and shared photos of the XXL in use. For someone around a size 9 in men’s or women’s hiking shoes, the XL gave a snug, secure fit; the XXL worked fine on bulkier boots.
