Razer Basilisk V3 Pro Wireless Ergonomic Gaming Mouse — White
Product description
Ergonomic chassis with programmable controls: The Basilisk V3 Pro uses Razer’s signature ergonomic silhouette designed for palm-oriented grips and extended sessions. It offers 10 primary programmable inputs plus a configurable thumb button, letting you assign macros and profiles via Razer software.
Lighting and materials: The mouse features 13 lighting zones with full underglow and support for more than 16.8 million colors, along with dynamic effects that can sync with supported games. The exterior is a durable polymer shell with textured rubber side grips for added control and smooth PTFE feet for consistent glide.
Sensor, switches, and scrolling: At its core is the Razer Focus Pro 30K optical sensor, tuned for responsive tracking across many surfaces, including glass. Input is handled by Razer Optical Mouse Switches Gen‑3, rated for an extended click lifespan and ultra-fast 0.2 ms actuation with no debounce delay. The Razer HyperScroll tilt wheel toggles between free-spin for fast navigation and a tactile mode for finer control.
Connectivity and battery: The mouse supports Bluetooth for low-power use, Razer HyperSpeed Wireless for ultra-low latency, and a wired USB‑C option for charging and connection. Battery life varies by mode: up to 150 hours on Bluetooth, roughly 110 hours on HyperSpeed Wireless at 1000 Hz, and up to about 32 hours when using the HyperPolling Wireless Dongle and Mouse Dock Pro at 8000 Hz (those accessories are sold separately).
What's included and setup: The package contains the Basilisk V3 Pro and a USB‑C charging cable along with basic documentation. Configuration of buttons, lighting zones, DPI stages, and profiles is done through Razer’s configuration app. The mouse is intended for gaming and productivity, offering on‑the‑fly sensitivity stages and profile switching for multiple use cases.
Pros
- High-precision Focus Pro 30K optical sensor
- Extensive customization with 10+1 buttons and 13 lighting zones
- Multiple wireless modes and long battery runtimes
Cons
- Internal rechargeable battery requires more frequent charging than removable cells
- Highest polling rates require separate dock or dongle
- Wireless receiver/puck can add noticeable weight for some users
VerdictThe Basilisk V3 Pro is a feature-rich, palm-friendly gaming mouse that pairs advanced tracking and ultra-fast optical switches with extensive lighting and button customization. It supports Bluetooth and Razer HyperSpeed wireless, plus a USB-C connection for charging. Battery life is strong in many scenarios, though heavy RGB or maximum polling setups will need more frequent charging or the optiona

Swapped from a G502 and very satisfied
I moved from a Logitech G502 and the Basilisk V3 Pro impressed me. The ergonomic shape fits my hand well, the buttons are easy to reach, and the customizable controls let me tailor it just how I like. Wireless responsiveness is reliable for both gaming and everyday work. The scroll wheel’s free-spin mode is great for long pages, and the RGB really enhances my setup.

Great performance but misses removable batteries
I miss the older models that took AA cells — they lasted far longer between charges. This internal rechargeable battery needs nightly plugging in for heavy use. The mouse still feels engineered well, glides smoothly, and performs at a high level, but the switch away from replaceable batteries feels like a downgrade.

Excellent wireless upgrade with solid build
I wanted a wireless alternative to the G502 platform and this delivered. The grips feel nicer, wireless performance is strong, and the customization options are plentiful. I purchased the docking accessory separately — it works well but feels pricey. The mouse is comparable in size and heft to other high-end models and the lighting is easily adjustable or switchable off.

Frustrating support experience
The mouse occasionally fails to wake properly from a locked screen and Synapse won't show the battery percentage until I power cycle it. Support labeled it hardware and requested returns repeatedly; every response seemed to restart the same troubleshooting steps. After returning and getting a replacement the issue persisted.

Very good mouse, slow shipping
The mouse itself is very good; my only complaint was a longer-than-expected delivery time.

Stylish, premium feel and responsive
Out of the box it feels well-made and setup was straightforward with the app. Performance is snappy, the clicks are satisfying, and the scroll wheel offers great modes for different tasks. Tons of software customization and a shape that suits larger hands. Battery life is decent but could be longer.

Head-to-head with the Logitech G502 X
Compared it directly to the G502 X. Both are comfortable for larger hands, though the Logitech can be tweaked with its removable clutch button. Glide is very smooth on both, perhaps a slight edge to Logitech, but overall they’re comparable. Button quality is excellent on each, so choose based on feel and ecosystem.

My son loves it — great for gaming and schoolwork
Bought this for my son and he’s been thrilled. It feels premium, the extra buttons are handy for macros and shortcuts, and the tracking is precise with no noticeable lag. He plays for hours and still finds it comfortable. Only real downside is the battery life under heavy lighting — we have to recharge more often than we expected.

My favorite wireless mouse so far
Design is familiar but performance feels superior. It’s fast, charges quickly, and the side grips are tactile. Battery lasts several days for my usage and I charge nightly. My in-game aim improved and misclicks are rare. Only gripe is the scroll wheel can be a bit sensitive and I sometimes trigger it when scrolling in file lists.

Still waiting for the item to arrive, so no detailed review yet.

Looks great but lacks a charging dock
The mouse is attractive and the software makes configuration simple. My main gripe is it doesn’t include a charging dock, so you must plug in the long USB‑C cable to recharge rather than setting it on a base overnight.

Bluetooth, 2.4 GHz and wired modes work well
I used to have a G502 Lightspeed and wanted Bluetooth and a battery. This fits well for my mid-size hand and the buttons are all within reach. There are fewer buttons than the G502 but enough for my needs. The configuration app gives full control over RGB, profiles, and DPI up to 30,000 with multiple stages programmable.
