Attractive but faint glow
Nice-looking clock but the numerals are only barely visible in darkness. I’m keeping it for daytime use, but don’t expect strong night visibility if that’s critical.

Doesn't glow for me
Received a unit that stays dark at night. I tried fresh batteries but there’s no luminous effect — it looks like a regular clock in the dark. Very disappointed.

Sufficient glow and dependable timekeeping
The glow is ample where your eyes notice it most and the big numbers are easy to read. Using a carbon-zinc AA battery and replacing it about every six months has kept mine running accurately for years.

These clocks aren’t clear in low light. We put one up after moving and bought another for my mum—neither shows up well in the dark.

Good size but I expected a stronger glow and a larger appearance. The lighting effect was the main disappointment.

Long-lasting glow on my unit
Mine charges well and stays visible most of the night. A 10W LED a few feet away for several hours gave it plenty of charge — very bright a few hours after lights out, dimmer toward dawn. A quick sun test for five minutes showed immediate glow. It’s silent, keeps excellent time, and the sweep second hand is smooth. The clear cover is virtually non-reflective, which I like.

Glow is weak; movement is quiet
Satisfied with the silent mechanism, but the luminous paint is fairly dim. I placed it where it gets half a day of sun and still found the glow underwhelming.
