Magicshine RN1200 + SEEMEE 150 V2.0 Rechargeable Bike Light Combo

Magicshine RN1200 + SEEMEE 150 V2.0 Rechargeable Bike Light Combo

Product description

The kit contains two main units: the RN1200 front lamp and the SEEMEE 150 V2.0 rear lamp, plus a range of mounts and a hex key.

The RN1200 headlight uses a high-power CREE LED and delivers selectable output levels (300, 600 and 1200 lumens) as well as two flashing options. Its optical lens is engineered to soften and drop the beam’s upper edge to limit glare toward oncoming traffic and other cyclists, while maintaining a wide, neutral-toned beam for comfortable nighttime vision.

The SEEMEE 150 V2.0 taillight pushes up to 150 lumens through a transparent fiber optic element that disperses light across roughly 260 degrees, improving side visibility. It includes a built-in accelerometer that detects deceleration and temporarily boosts output like a brake light. An ambient sensor switches day/night behavior automatically and a daylight-focused flash mode increases daytime visibility.

Both units run on rechargeable cells: the RN1200 houses a 4000mAh 21700 automotive-grade battery offering roughly 1.5 to 7 hours depending on output, while the taillight reaches full charge quickly and can run from around 5 hours on higher modes up past 40 hours on economy modes. The head unit supports USB-C charging and can reverse-charge other devices at up to 15W (5V/3A). A three-level battery indicator reports remaining charge.

Construction uses a one-piece aluminum alloy body for wear and corrosion resistance. The RN1200 carries IPX7 water protection (survives heavy rain and temporary submersion), and the SEEMEE 150 has an IPX6 rating suitable for driving rain and spray. Both have robust seals and protected USB-C ports.

Mounting is tool-free and broadly compatible: the headlight ships with a Garmin-style handlebar mount and five strap sizes to fit 25.4, 28, 31.8 and 35 mm round bars and aero tubes, plus an included hex key for final adjustments. The taillight can be attached via a Garmin-style seatpost clamp for 22–35 mm tubes or a saddle-rail clip for a tidy profile. Both lights snap on and off quickly for charging or theft prevention.

    Bike lights

Excellent product and very good customer experience.

  2. Reviewer 5/5

    Excellent bike lights!!

Front light provides a huge amount of visibility—comparable to automotive LED headlights in how much it lights the area. Take care to angle it slightly down to avoid dazzling others. The rear is bright and the battery life is impressive; I rarely need to recharge the tail unit.

Fantastic lights from a seasoned maker

Very bright lights with fast USB-C charging. I considered the brand’s reputation when buying and it paid off—construction feels premium. Fitting on my bar took a little fiddling because the supplied strap lengths sit between sizes, but once mounted they’re rock solid and the twist-to-release action is convenient.

  4. Diego Alejandro Castillo Palacio 5/5

    Solid buy

Bright unit that performs as advertised. Battery life seems generous so far and the overall quality feels reassuring. Good value compared to other options I looked at.

Good lights, beam pattern could be improved

Build quality is decent, but the LED has a cooler color temperature than I prefer and the lens pattern doesn’t shape the top edge as effectively as advertised. Another model I’ve tried handled color and beam more to my taste, though its mount was less convenient.

  6. Alberto Tello Torres 5/5

    Very useful

I loved it. Gives strong illumination and the battery endurance is excellent.

Super bright, well made safety gear!

These are shockingly bright compared to the old AA lights I used to own. Modes are easy to reach and the tail unit’s pulse option is preferable to a frantic strobe. Waterproofing appears solid and the charge indicators are clear. Both lights attach and detach quickly and feel robust—highly recommended for rider safety.

  8. K.C. 4/5

Excellent front and tail light combo!

This combo is a noticeable upgrade from cheap alternatives. The headlight is compact with an aluminum shell and simple controls that remember your last mode. Three steady levels plus two flash patterns cover most needs, and the mounting system is secure and easy to use.

  9. Dlk 5/5

    Shines like the sun

The RN1200 lights the road excellent even in total darkness and the multiple output levels help save battery when needed. The rear unit is very visible and the set feels solid and waterproof. USB-C charging is convenient and the runtimes have been reliable.

  10. SomeDude 5/5

Great set of bike lights and power bank!

Update: the headlamp doubles as a power bank—plug in a USB-C cord and it can charge phones and other gadgets. Original thoughts: very well-made aluminum bodies, protected USB-C port cover, and a solid mounting system that uses an allen screw for added security. The top button has an LED status indicator and the unit feels substantial in the hand.
