Standard Frame Grip Beekeeping Tool
Product description
This product is a single metal frame grip supplied ready for use.
It is built from heavy-duty metal for durability and designed to clamp the top bar of a beehive frame. The tool includes wide, ergonomically shaped handles to make gripping comfortable for most hands.
The gripper works with standard frame depths and is compatible with both wooden and plastic frames. To use, position the jaws over the frame top bar, squeeze the handles to secure the clamp, and lift the frame from the hive without relying on fingertips.
Because of its metal construction and broad handles, the tool is intended for repeated use during inspections and hive work.

Broken pin on arrival
A pin that secures the clamp was loose inside the package. I managed to refit it, but it felt weak and I’m concerned how long it will hold under regular use.

Useful with a tweak
Handy for removing and holding frames, especially when wearing heavy gloves. I used to pull frames by hand, but this makes inspections simpler. One leg arrived slightly out of alignment and needed bending for smooth action.

Not the spring shown
Mine came with two small coil springs instead of the torsion spring pictured. Aside from the different springs, it worked without other problems.
