Patak's Medium Lime & Mango Pickle Variety Pack (2 x 10 oz)
Product description
Traditional Indian achaar prepared with recognizable, simple ingredients and a time-honored spice blend. Patak’s Medium Lime and Mango pickles are made to bring tang, savory depth, and medium heat to a range of dishes. Both jars are intended to be used as a punchy condiment to complement cooked dishes.
Made with real produce and carefully chosen seasonings, the Lime Pickle features diced lime combined with paprika, mustard, and turmeric to create a bright, citrusy kick with savory spice notes. The Mango Pickle contains chunky pieces of mango seasoned with cumin, fennel, and mustard seed for a more rounded, tangy-spiced fruit profile. Neither jar contains artificial colors, and both are labeled vegan.
These achaars are traditionally served alongside Indian classics like curries, rice, naan, and parathas, where they cut through richness and add complexity. Beyond that, they function well in contemporary cooking: mix into yogurt dips, fold into lentils, spoon on sandwiches and wraps, or use as a bold addition to egg dishes and salads.
They also pair nicely with cheese selections, paneer, and grilled meats, and they work as a flavor boost in quick marinades. Because the flavors are concentrated, a small amount can transform a bite — taste and adjust to preference.
Package contents: two 10 oz jars — one Medium Lime Pickle and one Medium Mango Pickle (variety pack).

Bold flavor, a bit costly
The flavor is lively and intense. I paid more than I hoped to, but it comes close to versions I've had in restaurants.

Tastes just like the one I tried on a cruise
I first tasted something like this on a cruise and assumed it was ordinary pickles. After learning it was pickled mango, I searched and found this jar — it matched the flavor exactly. Delicious, but I wish each spoonful had less salt.

Very authentic and full-flavored
If you like strong flavors, this mango pickle is excellent. The mango pieces and spice mix deliver an authentic tangy-spicy-savory balance. A little goes a long way.

Arrived fermenting in the jar
This one arrived with a fermenting smell and a slick on top, making it inedible. I've enjoyed this product before, so it seems like a one-off bottling issue.

Not as good as previous batches
This batch seemed off — too much sauce and fewer mango pieces than before.

Hard to source elsewhere
Arrived early and tracking worked well. Glad to have it since it's otherwise difficult to track down.

Great spicy snack addition
I first had these in college and still love them. I stir some into plain yogurt for crackers or mix with cottage cheese — they give a lovely taste of Indian cuisine.

An acquired but rewarding taste
Mango achaar hits hard — start with a tiny amount mixed with a bite of food and increase as you like. I usually enjoy a heaping tablespoon with Indian meals.

Perfect balance and hearty herbs
Balanced spice and large herb pieces add great flavor to Indian dishes. Sometimes hard to locate locally.

Goldilocks level of chilli
Heat is just right — not too mild, not overpowering. Great flavor balance.

Bought as a gift for a friend
Purchased as a present for someone who couldn't find it nearby. A bit pricey for what it is, but fine as an occasional treat. Note the jar size is small.
