4K HDMI Capture Card (USB 3.0) — 1080p60 Game & Camera Recorder
Product description
High-definition capture and live streaming — This HDMI capture device uses the USB 3.0 interface to deliver high-bandwidth video transfer for recording and streaming. It accepts up to 4K HDMI input and can capture smooth 1080P at 60 frames per second. Note: the actual recorded resolution and frame rate depend on the capture software and available USB bandwidth.
Pocketable design for creators on the move — The unit is lightweight and compact, easy to slip into a bag for on-location streams, LAN events, studio sessions or small production setups. Its small footprint makes it convenient for users who switch between consoles, cameras and laptops frequently.
Built-in audio I/O — Two 3.5mm audio ports are provided: one microphone input and one headphone output for live monitoring and commentary. That makes it suitable for game commentary, livestream hosting, recording voiceovers, and other use cases that require synchronized audio monitoring while capturing HDMI sources.
True plug-and-play operation — Designed for quick setup, the capture card works out of the box with major streaming and recording applications such as OBS Studio and XSplit. No separate driver installation is required on supported systems, so you can begin capturing soon after connecting it to a PC or laptop.
Broad compatibility — The device supports Windows, macOS and Linux and works with HDMI-equipped sources including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, webcams and HDMI cameras. USB 3.0 high-speed transmission helps keep latency low and provides smoother capture performance when used with compatible hosts.
Package contents and warranty — Included in the box: 1 HDMI video capture device, 1 USB-C male to USB 3.0 female adapter, 1 USB-A to USB-A 3.0 data cable, 1 HDMI cable, and 1 user manual. The product also comes with a one-year warranty for manufacturer-backed support.
Pros
- Supports 4K input and smooth 1080p@60 capture
- Plug-and-play USB 3.0 connection, no drivers required
- Dual 3.5mm jacks for microphone input and headphone monitoring
Cons
- Not a source for uncompressed 4:4:4/YUY2 workflows
- USB-C adapter can feel loose and disconnect with movement
- Designed for 1080p capture — not HDR10/VRR/4K60 gaming capture
VerdictThis USB 3.0 HDMI capture card is a solid option for creators who need a portable solution for live streaming and recording at up to 1080p60 while accepting 4K HDMI input. It’s easy to set up—no drivers required for mainstream streaming programs—and has mic/headphone ports for commentary. Expect some limitations: it’s aimed at 1080p capture rather than advanced HDR/VRR or uncompressed 4:4:4 workfl

Exactly what I needed
Perfect for connecting to my MacBook — tiny, solid-feeling and easy to use with Apple TV and an HDMI camera. It’s very portable like a mini drive. Everything worked on connection; I haven’t tested audio much. One minor downside: the USB-A to USB-C adapter can be a bit loose and may disconnect with movement, but otherwise it handled my setups reliably.

Does the job with some caveats
It captures as advertised but don’t expect pro-level formats. I noticed color bars when recording through OBS and the footage can look crushed on scopes. There’s no uncompressed YUY2/4:4:4 support and it’s not HDR/VRR/4K144 capable — it’s built for 1080p capture. The board uses a MacroSilicon MS2131 chip; the image has extra sharpness and limited color range unless you find custom firmware tweaks. Acceptable if you want a budget solution; I took off one star for these issues.
