Impressive performance and strong customer support
I took a chance on Windmill as a newer brand and I’m pleased. The unit cools effectively, looks clean in the window, and runs much quieter than I expected. Installation was straightforward and customer service was responsive when I had questions. After checking comparison lists for energy efficiency and noise, this model ticked all my boxes and has been reliable so far.

A bit noisy, overall a solid value
It’s slightly louder than I hoped, but for the price and features it’s a good bargain. Cooling performance and installation are both solid.

Good size but compressor is loud
Lightweight and easy to mount, and two units installed quickly. However the compressor noise is noticeably loud compared with older, larger units I’ve owned, and the removable filter rattles unless pressed firmly into place. Fine for occasional use but disruptive for light sleepers.

Saved our nights during a heat wave
In triple‑digit heat with high humidity, this unit made the house livable. My rental home limited other options, but the Windmill fit the window despite security bars. Setup instructions were easy to follow. Night mode and Wi‑Fi control let us run it without bright lights disturbing sleep.

Underpowered and too noisy for a bedroom
This model struggled to cool a 250 sq ft bedroom effectively and produced an irritating buzzing at times. It seems the Lite design sacrifices some performance and quiet for cost. I decided to return it and look for a higher capacity unit.

Missing accessories and noisy operation
My package arrived without the accessory kit and it took a lot of hassle to get any response. On top of that, the unit runs loudly. I wouldn’t recommend this one if you expect complete packing and quiet performance.

Perfect for a studio — sleek and convenient
Using the smaller Windmill 5K in my studio and it cools quickly. Everything needed was in the box and setup took less than an hour. The design blends in nicely, app control works well, and the lights dim automatically at night.
