Wiha 30283 12-Piece Screwdriver Set — Precision, SoftFinish & XHeavy
Product description
This 12-piece Wiha kit contains a balanced mix of drivers to cover fine and general tasks: PicoFinish rotating-cap precision drivers with ultra-slim handles for delicate electronics and watch or eyewear work; SoftFinish full-size cushion-grip screwdrivers for general assembly and maintenance; SoftFinish stubby drivers for use in cramped spaces; and two XHeavy Duty drivers fitted with metal striking caps for impact and high-torque chores.
Blades are forged from chrome-vanadium-molybdenum alloy steel and finished with a satin chrome plating to resist corrosion. Tips are precision-machined for tight, repeatable engagement with Phillips and slotted fasteners, reducing cam-out and wear. Handles combine a firm plastic core with a rubberized outer layer on the SoftFinish models to maximize grip, control and torque transfer during extended use. PicoFinish tools have a smooth rotating end cap to support fingertip spinning and fine control.
Sizes in the set span the common household and professional needs: a selection of standard slotted and Phillips sizes in full-length SoftFinish handles, smaller precision slotted and Phillips PicoFinish drivers for micro electronics, stubby drivers for limited-clearance work, plus two extra-heavy-duty striking-cap drivers built with through-shank construction for durability under impact. The kit is intended to be an all-in-one solution so you don’t have to swap tool families when moving between micro-assembly and tougher maintenance tasks.

Remarkable fit and long-lasting construction
The Phillips tips lock into screws better than any other drivers I’ve used, with balanced weight and comfortable handle shape. Wiha tools cost more but feel like they will last a lifetime. The two XHeavy drivers are especially satisfying thanks to their full-length metal shafts and substantial heft; I can see why someone might want an extra pair of those for heavy-duty tasks.

Durable tips that resist bending and wear
I replaced a mismatched assortment with this kit and noticed the difference immediately. Rubberized grips conform to the hand and improve torque. Metal is high quality with no rust; coated tips hold up well. Coverage includes the sizes I need for household projects and craft electronics, and the finer tips are particularly useful for delicate work.

Sturdy, reliable drivers that outperform cheap kits
After breaking several low-quality drivers, this set felt like an upgrade. Precision tips resist cam-out and are far less likely to strip screws. Handles provide a confident grip for heavier torque, and the set’s strength and balance make working on furniture or electronics much less frustrating.

A screwdriver aficionado’s well-made kit
I’m picky about tip geometry and Wiha delivers — the tips reduce the chance of stripping fasteners. The kit includes all common slotted and Phillips sizes and would serve as a strong introductory set. Full-size handles give good torque; precision drivers spin easily under the fingertip. Once you use quality drivers like these, cheap alternatives feel inadequate.

A dependable, well-rounded starter collection
Ergonomic bulbous handles and rubberized material make it easy to apply force and torque. Tops are smooth for quick palm spinning, and tip machining is excellent — the #2 Phillips in particular bites into screws very well and holds them securely. Tips are tough and resist wear. The assortment focuses on Phillips and flatheads, with a selection that suits typical US needs.

Solid fixed-blade set with impressive heavy drivers
Made in Germany and clearly well made. These drivers feel robust and durable; the two XHeavy striking-cap pieces are notably hefty and seem to have the shaft running through the handle. The tiny jewelers' drivers are comfortable and the spinning cap makes one-handed fingertip turning easy. Slotted and Phillips coverage is good for routine electronics, though very small specialty bits for some phones or laptops may still be needed.

Exceptional craftsmanship and ergonomics
These Wiha drivers offer superb bit retention and ergonomics. The small drivers fit the palm for spinning and the set is very portable. I own multiple Wiha pieces and find them consistently durable and thoughtfully designed; this kit maintains that standard and represents solid value.

High quality that justifies the cost
Not a bargain bin kit, but the build stands out. The SoftFinish handles combine red plastic and a black rubber overmold for a secure, non-slip grip and flat surfaces to prevent rolling. End caps are clearly labeled with size and type; the XHeavy units use plain metal caps. The set includes full-size and precision Phillips and slotted drivers, plus a couple of heavy-duty striking drivers for tougher work.
