Waboba Catch Water Gloves & Pro Water Bouncing Ball Set
Product description
Designed specifically for water-based play, this kit brings a simple catch game to beaches, pools, lakes and rivers. It includes two baseball-style catching gloves plus a single Waboba Pro water-bouncing ball meant to skip across the water’s surface like a stone, creating lively group play and encouraging swimming after missed catches.
The gloves are constructed from neoprene, a water-friendly material that sheds water quickly and resists wear from repeated use. Each mitt has drain holes so water doesn’t pool inside, helping to keep the glove light and manageable while you play. The package is compact and easy to toss into a day bag for vacations or weekend trips.
These ambidextrous mitts are sold in a one-size-fits-most design and include an adjustable wrist strap to secure the glove on a variety of hand sizes, from children to adults. They are manufactured primarily for right-handed users but can be reversed for left-handed players, so families with mixed-handed throwers can share a single set.
Using the set is straightforward: toss or skip the Pro ball across the surface and catch it with the glove, or chase it down if your throw carries past your partner. The combination is meant to build catching skills in a playful environment and add a new option to summer sports activities.
The set also makes a practical gift for outdoor-loving kids, teens and active adults who enjoy water games and want a portable, durable play option for beach or pool days.
Pros
- Quick-drying neoprene with drain holes
- Ambidextrous, adjustable fit for most ages
- Compact and easy to pack for trips
Cons
- Skipping performance can vary
- Not a full traditional mitt feel
- May require a short break-in period
VerdictAn entertaining set for families and players who want to take catch into the water. The neoprene mitts are lightweight, drain fast and offer a secure fit via a wrist strap, while the Pro ball is designed to skip across water for active games. Most users praise its durability and family appeal, though some report the skipping performance can be hit-or-miss. Overall, a solid choice for outdoor water

Fun for every age
A super entertaining set that worked well for our family. Even our three-year-old could join the fun. It would be nicer with a small carry pouch, but otherwise very kid-friendly.

Took a few throws to master
These gloves have been excellent at both the beach and pool. The ambidextrous design let us share one set between a lefty and a righty. It took a handful of tries to get used to the timing, and they were a little snug at first, but they loosened up after a few sessions.

Mostly impressed
The gloves are lightweight in the water as advertised. The ball didn’t always skip as energetically as we hoped, but the set is still a worthwhile buy.

Disappointing ball performance
Not as effective as older versions — the ball often failed to skip. I gave two stars mainly because the gloves work well on either hand.

Nice gear and responsive support
My son, who plays baseball, loved the water version. Some stitching came loose after a few uses, but the company quickly arranged replacements, so we were happy with the service.

Ideal beach entertainment
Exactly what we needed for beach downtime — kept our nine-year-old busy and active. Fits a range of ages and handles water without issue.

Family favorite for beach days
This glove-and-ball combo became our go-to activity on a recent beach trip. The ball skips reliably for the most part, and the mitts made it simple for kids and adults to catch. The gloves stayed light even after hours in saltwater and sand, and they still look good after heavy use. Great way to keep everyone active and entertained.
