RF10 Replacement Cartridge for Waterdrop 10UA/10UB Undersink Filter
Product description
Compatibility and use
This RF10 replacement cartridge is made for Waterdrop undersink systems, specifically the 10UA, 10UB and 10UB-B models. It fits into the same housing as the original cartridge and supplies purified water to your existing kitchen faucet or to a dedicated drinking water faucet installed alongside it. Designed for connection to municipal water supplies, the cartridge is used in a standard under-sink installation and replaces the previous RF10 element.
Service life and capacity
When used on typical municipal water, the cartridge can run up to one year or about 11,000 gallons before replacement is recommended. That lifespan assumes normal household water quality and flow; very high sediment or unusual source water may shorten effective life. The expected replacement interval is annual for most families.
Filtration performance
The RF10 employs a multistage filtration approach to remove sediments and larger particles, reduce chlorine taste and odor, and cut down on a range of chemical contaminants including PFAS, PFOA/PFOS and certain heavy metals. Third-party testing shows reduction of chlorine and taste/odor under NSF/ANSI 42 protocols and reduction of lead under NSF/ANSI 53 testing parameters.
Materials and certifications
The cartridge is built from BPA-free, lead-free materials and carries WQA certification against relevant NSF/ANSI standards, including NSF/ANSI 372 for low lead content. Those certifications reflect both the material safety and the contaminant-reduction claims validated by independent labs.
Installation and maintenance
A twist-and-lock connector lets you swap the cartridge in seconds without tools: align, twist and lock to seat the filter. Regular replacement on the schedule above keeps performance consistent. The cartridge is compact to fit under most sinks and intended for homeowner replacement without professional help.
Pros
- Long service life (about 1 year / ~11,000 gallons)
- Multistage reduction of PFAS, chlorine, sediment and lead
- Tool-free twist-and-lock replacement for quick swaps
Cons
- May reduce water flow on some setups
- No built-in meter to track remaining capacity
- Performance depends on source water quality
VerdictThe RF10 replacement cartridge offers a long runtime and multi-stage contaminant reduction while using BPA- and lead-free components tested to key NSF/ANSI standards. It installs quickly under a sink and supplies filtered water to either an original faucet or a separate drinking faucet. If you want a maintenance cycle measured in months rather than weeks and straightforward, fast changes without t

Convenient under-sink solution
Easy to set up and it removes many city-water chemicals, improving taste. Filters last a long time, though I’d like a way to monitor how much water has passed through.

Simple fix for iron-flavored water (translated)
Extremely easy to hook up and removed the iron taste from our drinking water. I connected it to the cold tap used for drinking; it slowed flow by roughly 30% but fits neatly under the sink, is economical and is simple to replace after about 40 m3. System pressure here is ~4 bar. Recommended.
