Good idea, but flange height caused rocking
My flange sat about a quarter inch above the floor. Even after removing the collars the toilet still rocked, so the kit was unusable for my situation. I salvaged the mounting bolts for a standard wax ring install, but you only know it will rock after placing the bowl, which complicates returns.

Very simple install, minimal mess
Installation was extremely easy and clean. One of the gray plastic nuts had a worn edge, so I swapped in my old metal hardware and it worked fine. Overall a quick, mess-free install.

Finally stopped persistent sewer smell
After two failed attempts with other rings, this fixed the odor issue. The wax core plus flexible rubber gasket sealed the drain interior so movement of the rubber didn’t let gases pass. Follow the instructions and press down to engage the gasket.

Worked, but flawed instructions and parts
Resetting an older toilet with a deep flange, I found the instructions vague. Some T-nuts were ground on the wrong sides and needed filing to seat properly. The ring’s routing over the nuts wasn’t explained. It worked after extra effort but was frustrating.
