Held Firm Through Beach Storms
Used these with a Clam Quick Set on the beach — they outperformed the stock stakes I had before. Faced heavy wind and they stayed put; the lines would likely fail before the anchors let go. I recommend using the adapter and an impact driver for easier installation. Very satisfied with how well they held.

Works Well in the Right Soil
Effectiveness depends heavily on ground type. At a campsite with compacted, gravelly soil the diameter was too large to penetrate easily and the softer layer underneath didn’t allow a firm screw-in anchor. In moister, gravel-free soils these would likely perform much better. The design concept is sound.

Survived a Week at a High-Wind Event
Took these to a multi-day festival as a budget option and they held a one-tent shade structure through sustained gusts up to ~30 mph for six days. They’re very lightweight — likely cast aluminum — so they may break rather than bend under extreme loads, but none failed during my use. I would avoid them for very large installations over a few hundred square feet. Also, discard the supplied driver bit — its machining is poor and it jammed in my driver. Use a quality bit instead.

Reliable — Reordered Multiple Times
Depending on ground you can screw them in by hand, but an impact driver makes it effortless. I’ve purchased them three times so I must be happy with the results.
