Garmin Approach S12 Golf Watch — Simple GPS Rangefinder
Product description
The Approach S12 arrives as a ready-to-play golf GPS watch. In the box you get the S12 wristwatch, a proprietary charging clip and cable, plus quick-start and warranty paperwork.
The watch uses a lightweight reinforced polymer case and a comfortable silicone strap designed for all-day wear on the course. The round transflective display is engineered for sunlight readability so numbers remain visible in bright conditions. Typical case diameter is around 42 mm and the band is adjustable to fit most wrists; the compact profile keeps it unobtrusive while swinging.
More than 42,000 golf courses worldwide are preloaded, and the device provides distances to the front, middle and back of the green as well as yardages to hazards and doglegs. The S12 can detect when you tee off and automatically launch a round. Scorekeeping is available on the watch, and scores can be uploaded to the Garmin Golf app when paired with a compatible smartphone to join leaderboards.
For additional automation, the watch supports pairing with optional Approach CT10 club-tracking sensors (sold separately) to log shot counts and club distances. Battery life is rated up to 30 hours in GPS mode, letting you play multiple rounds between charges depending on usage.
