Deluxe L-Shaped Push Sticks for Table Saw, Router Table & Jointer
Product description
What you receive: a pair of deluxe L-shaped push sticks designed for workshop use. Both pushers share the same L-profile so you have a backup or can use one for larger pieces and the other for more detailed work.
Construction and features: each stick is molded from a tough polymer with structural ribs for added stiffness, a reinforced heel to hold work flat against the table, and padded areas at contact points for a secure feel. The design incorporates an ergonomic handle that sits naturally in the hand and helps you apply consistent downward pressure.
How it’s used: the L-shape lets you push stock through blades while keeping your hand offset from the cutting line. They are particularly handy when you need to get closer to the blade than a straight push stick allows, and they also help limit kickback by maintaining steady feed pressure.
Compatibility: these push sticks are suitable for common woodworking machines such as table saws, router tables, jointers and shapers. Their compact profile works well when the fence is positioned near the blade and in situations that call for controlled, one-handed feeding.
Pros
- Ergonomic handle for a secure grip
- Reinforced ribs and extended heel for control
- Comes as a two-piece set for convenience
Cons
- Hand can still be relatively close to the blade
- Not a substitute for mechanical hold-downs
- Some users report adhesive or breakage issues
VerdictThese L-shaped push sticks are a practical safety tool for woodworkers who want better control and protection when feeding stock through powered machines. Each stick offers a comfortable ergonomic grip, an extended heel for holding stock down and reinforced ribs for strength. They aren’t a substitute for cautious technique or advanced hold-down systems, but they are a reliable, compact option to r

Keeps fingers clear
Made to keep fingers away from the spinning blade. There are other options, but this is certainly better than nothing.

Essential shop safety accessory
A must-have for any table saw setup — these should be included with machines. They let you keep constant downward pressure through the cut. Worth having to avoid finger accidents.

Good addition to my saw
Haven’t used them extensively, but they work well. Their thin profile keeps my hand farther from the blade when the fence is close. A handy addition.

Broke too soon
Both pieces snapped after one use. The glue/assembly didn’t hold up.

Saved my fingers
I wish I’d started using L-shaped push sticks sooner. Strong, molded plastic and a comfortable handle make feeding stock through the blade much less nerve-wracking. They give good control on narrow pieces and feel solid in hand. Not flashy, just very useful for regular woodworking.

Handy variety helps control
I dread using the table saw, so having several shapes and sizes helps a lot. The different sticks give fine control for small cuts and larger gripping area for bigger pieces. The handles feel ergonomic and increase my confidence when using the right stick for the job.

Hand sits too close to the blade
Feels solid and comfortable, but the design leaves my hand nearer the blade than I like. A taller main body would make me feel safer, so I returned mine.

Most useful stick I own
At 78 I’ve used many push devices and this one is the most useful I’ve had. It’s lightweight, holds the wood down and the handle lets me rest my hand on the fence while pushing. I trimmed the end for really narrow stock when needed, and bought extras to give away.
