TOAKS Titanium 450ml Camping Cup — 0.5 mm Wall
Product description
Construction and materials: This cup is formed from pure titanium with a 0.5 mm wall thickness for added rigidity compared with thinner single-wall models. The metal is corrosion-resistant, lightweight, and won't absorb flavors or odors.
Capacity and dimensions: The cup holds 450 ml (about 15.2 oz). Internal dimensions measure roughly 79 mm diameter by 90 mm high. When the folding handles are tucked in, the packed footprint is about 87 mm diameter by 90 mm high, making it easy to nest or fit inside larger pots.
Weight and included items: The cup weighs approximately 76 g (2.7 oz). It ships as the cup with integrated foldable handles; there is no lid included, though the shallow rim accepts lids from compatible cookware if you need one.
Use and care: Designed for boiling water, making coffee or tea, and reheating soups or small meals, it’s safe for direct use on backpacking stoves and over campfires. As a single-wall titanium vessel it heats and cools rapidly, so use an insulating sleeve or cuff when sipping hot liquids and handle carefully when on active heat.
Pros
- Very light for its capacity
- Durable 0.5 mm titanium walls
- Compact packed profile with foldable handles
Cons
- No insulation — transfers heat quickly
- No lid included
- May become hot to touch when heated
VerdictA rugged, ultralight single-wall titanium cup that does the simple things very well: carry small meals or hot drinks, boil water, and stow without adding bulk. The reinforced 0.5 mm walls make it more dent-resistant than thinner alternatives, and its folding handles and compact packed profile suit minimalist packs. Expect fast heat transfer and no insulation, so handle with care when heating. Idea

Tiny and capable
Extremely light and roomy enough for a good coffee. Very satisfied.

Understand it's not insulated
Performs as expected for the price. This is a single-wall cup — it will get hot when heated. If you need insulation, expect added weight. The thicker 0.5 mm version resists dents better than the thin variant; mine has survived rough use from a kid in Scouts.

Simple, reliable field cup
This titanium cup is straightforward and dependable. It rinses clean easily and doesn’t hold flavors, which is a huge convenience while out on multi-day trips. Its low weight makes it almost disappear in a pack, and the single-wall build lets you boil water directly in it. Be cautious using it over big fires since it heats fast and the small size concentrates heat — for long, heavy fire use a larger canteen cup style may be more practical.

Sturdy and light, but volume is off
Product feels robust and is lightweight. However, it seems smaller than labeled—measurements suggested it tops out nearer 375–400 ml rather than 450 ml. The cup and box show 450 ml, so expect a potential discrepancy if capacity is critical.

Tried and true for backcountry use
I’ve used this in mountain hunts for seasons — it’s lightweight and tough. It doubles as a small pot for boiling water when needed and handles rough field use well.

Featherweight but watch the heat — add silicone grips
Perfect solo-meal size and ideal for coffee. Titanium keeps things safe from leaching and is super light. The downside is heat moves through metal quickly, so the handles and rim can become uncomfortable. I solved it by adding silicone sleeves for drinking and a silicone lip for hot sips. Affordable compared with cups that have factory coatings, and equally functional with simple accessories.

Solid little mug
Good overall size, perhaps on the modest side for some freeze-dried meals but plenty for coffee. Construction feels sturdy and hasn’t warped with use, though an empty cup could dent if abused. Handles are light and serviceable; the cup gets hot but cools quickly. Surface has a mild texture but cleans up easily after soot or creosote from fire use.

Great value for stove-top heating
Exactly what I use to warm small amounts of water for coffee and tea on a camp stove. Too small for full meals except light options like oatmeal. No lid comes with it, but a larger pot lid will fit in a pinch. Titanium heats and cools fast, and I’ve found drinks stay warm enough if consumed promptly.

Lightweight and unbreakable for non-backpackers
I’m not an avid backpacker but needed a durable tea cup while deployed. Titanium is light, won’t rust, and survives drops. It’s about the size of a typical coffee cup; it doesn’t insulate like double-wall mugs but works fine for tea. It arrived in plain packaging with a small mesh storage bag that’s handy for transport.

Does everything a cup should
Holds liquid, boils well, and tucks away light. The small handles sit comfortably in a pinkie, and with added silicone covers sipping boiling drinks is better. I cooked rice and oatmeal separately in it and enjoyed drinks from it. At under 3 ounces it packs away neatly, though the 450 ml capacity is slightly under two cups and may irk precision cooks.
