Double-Sided No-Sew Hemming Tape — 1/2 in x 200 ft
Product description
What’s included: a single roll of double-sided fabric hemming tape measuring 1/2 inch in width and 200 feet in length, wound for easy cutting and application.
Materials and adhesive: the tape features a thin, flexible substrate with a hypoallergenic adhesive on both sides. It’s formulated to cling to cloth without leaving obvious residue and to flex with movement for comfortable wear.
Sizes and coverage: at 0.5 inch wide and 200 ft long, the roll supplies ample tape for shortening garments, mending curtain hems, securing table linens, or multiple crafting projects without frequent reorders.
How it’s used: fold the fabric to the desired hem, place a strip of tape between the folded layers, then press firmly to bond. No iron, pins, or sewing tools are required, making it handy for quick alterations and temporary fixes.
Versatility: suitable for pants, skirts, dresses, collars, bedskirts, curtains, tablecloths, and many craft applications. It also works for lightweight mounting tasks like securing photos or decorations on boards when pins aren’t appropriate.
Portability and convenience: the compact roll fits into a purse, emergency kit, or glovebox for fast access. It’s intended as a temporary or interim solution to hold fabric until a more permanent repair is made.

VerdictThis double-sided hemming tape is a fast, portable solution for short-term clothing and fabric repairs. The slim 1/2-inch tape blends into lightweight materials and the flexible, skin-friendly adhesive moves with fabric. It’s ideal for quick adjustments, DIY crafts, and emergency wardrobe fixes, but expect a temporary bond rather than a permanent tailoring replacement.

Not washproof
Worked well until the garment was washed. After laundering the tape peeled away, so avoid for items you plan to machine-wash.

Strong for costumes
Creates a reliable bond. Used it on costume pieces and it held up during performances.

Quick no-sew solution
Makes simple clothing fixes fast — press a strip between folded fabric and press to bond. No ironing or sewing needed, so it’s great for shortening pants or fixing hems on the fly. The stick is suitable for everyday wear but should be viewed as a temporary alternative to tailoring. The tape is thin and flexible, so it doesn’t make fabric stiff, and the roll is easy to cut to size. Good value for basic repairs and small textile tasks.

Saved the curtains
I feared cutting my favorite curtains, but this tape let me shorten them without sewing. The rails no longer wobble when someone walks by and the finished hem looks tidy.

Didn’t work for me
Adhesive didn’t live up to my expectations for pants and boots. By day’s end the tape had come loose, sticking more to my boot than the hem. I’ll try an iron-on option next time.

Handy roll to have
Really impressed with the stick and ease of use. Bought another roll to keep on hand. Fixed a carpet edge that used to catch my foot.

Strong grip
Worked perfectly — easy to handle and very sticky. I used it to keep a bedskirt in place and to secure a loose carpet edge. Thin but effective and simple to apply.
