The rod itself is made from 1" diameter metal tubing with a wall thickness of approximately 0.8mm. The metal is finished with a high-temperature baking process to create a smooth, wood-look surface and lifelike grain pattern. Brackets and hardware are iron and come with sturdy screws to secure the installation.
The assembly uses an upgraded telescoping sectional design: several rod sections screw together and the inner rod slides to set the length. This system lets you shorten the overall length by removing sections or extend it by adjusting the inner piece. The range covers most needs, with adjustability from about 32 inches up to 144 inches.
Load capacity is rated up to roughly 33 pounds, so the rod can support a variety of curtain fabrics from lightweight sheers to medium-weight drapes. The finish and construction aim to reduce bending and sagging compared with thinner, flimsier rods.
For sizing, measure the full window frame (not just the glass). A common guideline is to add 4–12 inches to the window width so panels can stack at the sides; typically an overlap of 2–6 inches per side is recommended depending on panel thickness. For example, a 48-inch window would usually take a rod roughly 52–60 inches long. During installation, align the fixing rods and threads before tightening and twist slowly to ensure proper seating; there are online setup videos and the included manual to help walk you through the process.

Not wood — metal sections screw together
I expected wood from the title but it's metal in three screw-together sections. Very solid; once mounted it can fool the eye and feels weighty when brackets are secured.

Gorgeous wood-look and user-friendly
Beautiful finish that adds warmth to the room. I thought it was real wood until I inspected it — it's metal but feels solid. Setup was quick and everything aligned well. The adjustability is handy for different window sizes; only very close inspection shows slight grain inconsistencies, but from normal distance it looks lovely.
