Wildlife Dotted A5 Writing Journal — Vegan Leather Notebook
Product description
This A5 hardcover writing journal arrives as a single, ready-to-use notebook with a vegan PU leather cover, an elastic closure band, a ribbon bookmark and an integrated pen loop. An expandable pocket is fitted into the back cover for loose notes and receipts, and every leaf is micro-perforated for neat removal.
The interior pages are 100gsm cream paper, acid-free and formatted with a subtle dot grid that suits bullet journaling, sketching, planning and daily notes. The stock is chosen to minimize ghosting and bleeding from fountain pens, gel inks and many markers.
The binding is engineered to open flat to 180 degrees so you can write or draw across spreads with equal ease from left- or right-handed positions. The cover material is a durable vegan leather alternative, and the paper is sourced from FSC-certified mills; the product also carries Vegan certification. A portion of proceeds supports wildlife conservation.
Production notes: the papermaking heritage behind this notebook traces back to an established Lebanese papermaker, bringing traditional craftsmanship together with modern finishes. The size and features make it suitable for business, travel journals, planners and personal diaries.

Ideal for fountain-pen users
I regularly use fountain pens and the 100gsm cream paper handles them without feathering or show-through. Ink dries acceptably and writing is a smooth experience.

Sturdy cover and pleasant pages
Lovely pages paired with a robust cover. The paper weight keeps ink from bleeding through and the whole book feels substantial without being too heavy.

Good paper and plenty of options
I planned to use it for language study but lapsed on the habit. That said, the notebook itself is high quality and comes in many colors and patterns. The dotted pages help keep writing neat without being intrusive, and the paper thickness handled my liquid ink pens well.

Quality and finish exceeded my expectations
The build, fit and finish are better than I anticipated. The back pocket, inner lining, solid spine, elastic closure and pen carrier are all well executed. The cover feels like leather and the thick paper prevents bleed-through. Good value for a durable everyday journal.

Stylish and well finished
A truly elegant notebook with quality finishing. I would have liked more internal structure, but the uniform pages keep the look minimal and classy. Recommended for lovers of fine paper.

Second purchase — still very pleased
This is my second Wildlife journal and I felt compelled to review it. The paper is excellent and the small details — the back pocket, dotted pages with micro-perf — are practical. I take it to school daily and the pen loop has held up to rough use. The cream pages are smooth and the hardcover has a nice leather-like texture. Weight is comfortable. As a left-hander I avoid long-drying gel pens because they can smudge on this paper.

Great paper, sturdy cover, pleasant to touch
This is my second from the same brand and I’ll buy more. Cream pages don’t glare, the dot grid is subtle, and markers and fountain pens did not show through. The notebook stayed in good condition after months of use and lies flat. Handy features include a bookmark, elastic closure and pen loop.

Elegant and very functional for mixed media
Bought several times for bullet journaling — they perform well. Dotted grids align across spreads, pages are thick enough for light watercolor washes if applied in layers, and the covers look smart and refined.

Customer service went above and beyond
The team resolved an issue with my order impressively. The paper is silky and very pleasant to write on; it’s 100gsm cream with medium-visibility dots spaced around 5mm. Micro-perforations on every page were a deciding feature for me and the replacement arrived in great condition.

Excellent choice for a first bullet journal
After researching for weeks I settled on this model for my first bullet journal. Construction is solid, the cream paper is very smooth and the micro-perforations are holding up. The elastic band is secure and the pen loop is well placed.

Notable differences between older and newer runs
I own a 2017 Wildlife notebook and bought a 2018 version. Both are well made and animal-free, but the newer book’s page tone and finish differ slightly from my older copy. Dot alignment and durability remain excellent, though the page color changed between batches.

Cover excels; paper pleasantly smooth
I compared several brands and chose this for the cover material and 100gsm stock. The cover is exactly what I wanted — sturdy and tactile — and the paper is ultra-smooth, reminiscent of premium printer stock. Pages feel great for practice and finished work.
