Sea to Summit FoamCore Camping & Travel Pillow — Regular 13.4 x 9.4, Aqua Sea
Product description
This FoamCore pillow is supplied as a single compact travel cushion that uses upcycled foam off-cuts from Sea to Summit self-inflating sleeping mats. The core is made from low-density, high-rebound foam designed to provide cushioning and return to shape after use.
The foam is enclosed in a soft, breathable brushed stretch-knit cover produced from certified recycled materials. Between the foam and cover there is an additional layer of recycled Revive Loft insulation to help manage temperature and add loft without bulk.
A sewn-in pocket on one side is sized to hold small nighttime items and serves double duty as a hook-and-loop wrap to compress the pillow for storage. When wrapped it reduces to roughly 17 percent of its original volume and it springs back quickly when unrolled for use.
The Regular size measures approximately 13.4 x 9.4 x 5.1 inches for use and packs down to about 10.2 x 4.1 inches for transport. It weighs roughly 5.6 ounces and is compatible with PillowLock patches on compatible sleeping mats so it can be secured in place overnight.
Pros
- Comfortable foam core with good rebound
- Breathable recycled stretch-knit cover
- Compresses tightly using integrated pocket/closure
Cons
- Not as tiny when packed as an inflatable
- Pocket flap can be fiddly for some users
- Slightly bulky for ultralight backpacking
VerdictA comfortable, lightweight foam travel pillow that balances support and packability. The recycled low-density foam and brushed stretch-knit cover give a home-like feel, while the integrated pocket/closure lets you compress it to a small package. Ideal for campers who want a foam option that performs well for side sleepers and basecamp setups.

Exactly as advertised, very nice
Nice travel pillow — packs down small and is very lightweight. Fluffs up nicely when unrolled, and the fabric feels soft. Matches the product description.

Great for car camping and home use
Very comfortable. I tried it at home before a trip and now I keep one on my bed — I need to buy another for my kit. Too big for serious backpacking, but excellent for car camping if you want near-home comfort.

Very comfortable for basecamp
Love this for basecamp sleeping. Comfortable and supportive, though it isn’t an ultralight item.

Comfortable, light and fairly compact
I tested several non-inflatable camp pillows and this one won out. It isn’t the tiniest option, but it’s lighter and more supportive than others I tried. On a backpacking trip I used it atop an inflatable pillow for extra height — as a side sleeper it stopped my shoulder from aching.

Too small for my preference
Good build quality but I found the size a bit too small to be fully comfortable for me.

Plush and more reliable than inflatables
The hook-and-loop wrap compresses fine but the extra flap annoyed me, so I trimmed it and store the pillow in a 3L sack to keep it clean. Still giving five stars — a top non-inflatable camp pillow that remains small and comfy.

Feels luxurious compared to inflatables
Larger and more comfortable than most inflatables I’ve used. Worth the investment if you want more comfort on the road.

Good density, holds up well
Far superior to blow-up types for me. The firmness is just right. I used it on the XL pad and the little Velcro tabs on that pad wore away after about ten uses — a pad issue, not this pillow. Packs smaller than a foam block but not as small as inflatables.

Very comfy, fits my weekend bag
A very comfortable pillow that I pack in my weekend bag. I used to struggle with hotel pillows but now I sleep as I do at home. It does take some space when rolled, but the better sleep is worth it.

Finally the travel pillow I wanted
Excellent weight-to-comfort balance. I carried this for six nights while walking and was very pleased — light and gentle on my neck. Not the cheapest option, but it noticeably improved comfort in my tent.

Proper pillow for travel
Solid pillow — quite comfy. It does need a short time to expand after unrolling before it reaches full loft.
