MIXC 4-inch Seed Starting Nursery Pots with Humidity Domes — 30 Pack (Red)
Product description
Set contents and material: this pack contains 30 red plastic nursery pots paired with matching clear humidity domes and a set of plastic plant labels. The pots are made from soft, washable plastic that can be reused season after season.
Dimensions: each container measures 3.7 inches across at the top opening, 2.5 inches across at the bottom, and stands 3.2 inches tall. The included dome rises about 3.5 inches above the pot to create a mini greenhouse environment for germination.
Drainage and handling: each pot has eight small drain holes in the base to promote soil drainage and air flow and help prevent root rot. A raised top rim makes it easier to pick up, move and stack the pots when not in use.
How it’s used: the built-in humidity cover traps moisture and heat during the germination phase so seedlings can stay in the pot longer before being moved to the garden. These pots are suitable for starting seeds, propagating cuttings, succulents and small plants, and they work well as transition pots while moving plants from indoors to outdoor beds.
Pros
- Dome retains humidity for better germination
- Transparent pots let you monitor roots and moisture
- Lightweight, washable, and reusable
Cons
- Thin plastic—requires careful handling
- Domes rest on top and don’t snap into place
- Some wobble when stacked or nested
VerdictA practical, economical option for seed starting and small-scale propagation. The clear domes retain moisture to improve germination and the soft plastic makes transplanting easier. Expect lightweight construction and lids that simply sit on top — handle with care, but these are useful for indoor starts and propagation projects.

Great setup for African violets
I nest a small azalea-style pot inside a regular 2" pot which then goes into this pot with the dome. With a watermaid tray the moisture stays steady and the dome keeps misting on the walls without dripping.

Can watch root development
Perfect little nursery pots — started all my seeds in these and loved being able to see roots to judge transplant timing.

Good deal for a bulk pack
Nice set of pots and domes. My only gripe is the domes don’t snap on; they just rest on top. Still functional and I’ll keep using them.

Too flimsy for rough handling
The walls are very thin. Putting the dome on can crush the pot and the lids don’t seal — they just sit there. They’re inexpensive for a reason.

Exactly as described
These matched the listing and performed well for my seed tray needs — seedlings came up healthy.

Domes won’t stay in place
Pots are a good size and soft for removing transplants, but the domes don’t snap on. Outdoors they’ll blow off in wind since nothing anchors them.

Works well for germination, a little thin
The domes keep moisture in and germination was solid. Soft plastic makes popping seedlings out easy, but the pots feel thin so I’m careful when transplanting. Labels are a helpful bonus.

Plenty of pots and clear design
These are soft, transparent pots that let you check root growth and soil moisture. At about 4 inches they’re convenient for seed starting, cuttings and placing on a windowsill or shelf.

They work if you handle them gently
I don’t start many seeds, and I hesitated because other buyers called them flimsy. The bottoms are delicate, so lift carefully. The included labels are handy and the domes create a nice greenhouse effect. Lids don’t clip on — they just sit — but otherwise fine for indoor seedlings.

Good quality for the cost
Solid value and functionality for starting seeds and cuttings.

Handy in a cold frame
Used these inside a cold frame to protect small plugs and they did the job. A bit wobbly on some pots, but overall very useful and I’d recommend them.
