   Solid value, noticeable cooling effect

   Really pleased — my laptop runs about 10°C cooler at just 1100 RPM. Quiet and effective for everyday gaming.

   Great fit for Asus G14, quieter than expected

   This sealed perfectly on my Asus G14 without the extra inserts and delivered noticeable thermal drops, though it didn’t completely eliminate throttling—likely due to my thermal paste/liquid-metal. At around 1500 RPM it’s surprisingly quiet with the laptop mounted. I prefer the physical buttons to the touch controls on the previous model. Only minor annoyance: the small front tabs could be sturdier.

   Keeps Lenovo in the low 40s while gaming

   I use it with a Lenovo gaming laptop and it holds temperatures in the high 30s to low 40s during Fortnite. Fan noise is muted once the laptop is on, especially compared with the larger V12. I’d pick this model over the bigger variant for my setup.

   Plastic shell—handle carefully

   Lightweight plastic body, so avoid drops. The fan is strong and effective, but I do hope the unit holds up over time.

   Highly recommended for gaming notebooks

   For my ASUS G14 this stopped hot air recirculation and blew cool air directly into the intake vents. The foam seal helps a lot. You don’t need max RPM for good results—there are diminishing returns past about 1500 RPM. The extra USB ports are convenient, but remember it needs AC power and an outlet.

   Excellent air distribution on Legion 5 Pro

   Outstanding at directing airflow — on my Lenovo Legion 5 Pro (2021) it dropped CPU temps to around 50°C and GPU temps into the mid-40s. Very effective for that chassis.

   Powerful airflow with acceptable value

   I’ve used it for a while and it keeps temps down during long sessions. The fan pushes a lot of air so performance is solid. It can be loud at high RPMs, but wearing headphones makes it negligible. RGB looks clean and not overly distracting. Good balance of cooling power and cost.

   Surprised by how much it cools

   I didn’t expect such large drops. Paired with air conditioning I saw up to a 20°C reduction in chassis temps. Very impressive and worth the purchase.

   Noisy but cools very well; USB hub useful

   I previously used a cheap cooler for light tasks, but my new gaming rig hit over 90°C and I had to throttle. Switching to this cooler let me run higher performance without capping at 80°C. It’s louder than budget models but the cooling improvement is clear, and the USB passthrough is handy.

    Noticeable upgrade over cheap alternatives

    After using many cheap pads that only shaved a couple degrees, this one made a real difference. On mid speeds temps were 10–15°C lower on average, with immediate drops of 15–20°C when turning it on. During long gaming sessions max temps stayed under 80°C and averages were around the mid-50s to mid-60s.

    Huge drops in idle and gaming temps

    Real-world numbers: idle temps fell from ~42–48°C down to about 29–35°C at 1200–1500 RPM. Under a demanding AAA title my i7 stayed in the mid-50s to mid-70s instead of 80–95°C. I logged data with CoreTemp and HWiNFO64. Downsides: the lighting can’t be fully switched off and the highest tilt isn’t quite steep enough for my taste.

    Effective if your laptop has bottom vents

    If your notebook has no bottom intakes, this will do little — sealing is required. For machines that draw air from the base, I saw temperature drops of about 10–20°C depending on workload, often with the pad running under half speed. Gaming produced the biggest gains. It removed the uncomfortable heat on my keyboard and improved sustained performance compared with cheaper alternatives.
