Patio
9 ft Solar LED Patio Umbrella — Crank, Tilt, 32 LEDs
Product description
This umbrella ships as a complete canopy and pole assembly; an umbrella base is not included in the box. The canopy spans 108 inches (9 ft) in diameter and the assembled height is about 98.4 inches. The center pole measures 1.50 inches (38 mm) in diameter for improved rigidity. The frame uses an eight-rib iron construction to support the fabric and lighting.
Lighting is solar-powered: 32 integrated LEDs (four LEDs on each rib) are fed by a solar panel mounted at the top. There is an on/off switch for the lights on the pole. For reliable nighttime illumination, let the solar panel charge in direct sunlight for roughly 6–7 hours and switch the lights off during daytime charging to conserve power.
Operation is manual and straightforward — a hand crank raises and lowers the canopy, and a push-button tilt mechanism lets you angle the top for added shade as the sun moves. The canopy fabric is breathable polyester treated to resist UV exposure and light moisture, designed to provide cooling shade for outdoor gatherings.
Use this umbrella over dining tables, by the pool, on decks, or at the beach; it’s sized to shelter seating areas and small tables. When used freestanding, a weighted base of at least 26.5 lb (12 kg) or heavier is advised to keep the umbrella stable in breezy conditions. The pole and ribs are metal; the canopy is polyester fabric; solar panel and LED components are integrated into the top assembly.
Maintenance is simple: fold and store the umbrella during strong storms and in winter months for longer life, wipe the solar panel clean for best charging performance, and secure a certified heavy-duty base for safety when used free-standing.
Pros

VerdictA feature-rich, budget-friendly outdoor umbrella that combines hands-free lifting with solar lighting. The polyester canopy and eight iron ribs give solid coverage and structure, while the 32 LEDs provide gentle nighttime illumination without wiring. It’s easy to operate with a crank and push-button tilt, but plan to buy a heavy, weighted base separately and allow full sun charging for reliable ev

Replaced a storm-damaged umbrella — very pleased
I ordered this online to replace one lost in a storm and was pleasantly surprised. The canopy size, build quality and stability feel comparable to pricier alternatives. The solar LEDs are a welcome touch for evening use. No real complaints so far — I’d recommend it.

Great for evening meals and regular use
The 32 LEDs give a warm glow without being harsh and the top solar panel charges well in daylight. The hand crank and push-button tilt are simple and reliable. Polyester canopy resists sun and light rain. I’d advise getting a sturdy base for windy days.

Solid so far, color is great
Looks durable and the green canopy gives good shade. My only tip is to use a heavier base than recommended; a 30 lb base still tipped in a breeze and I had to add extra weight. Otherwise satisfied and would purchase again.

Good value but mixed long-term results
Bought two of these over a few years. Construction is strong and the attached tie strap is handy. First one snapped in a storm; second lasted longer but developed issues in year two — tie strip came off and closing required extra force. Overall decent for the money.

Blocks heat, adds gentle evening light
Neat umbrella that shields my backdoor from the hot afternoon sun. The solar LEDs keep the patio from being completely dark at night — not bright enough to read by, but fine for moving around safely. So far it meets my expectations.

Ready to use straight from the box
Very simple setup — just attach the bottom pole and open. Many color options and the little solar lights are a nice bonus. Previous umbrellas from this brand made assembly painless compared to others I've tried.

Has withstood seasons, with some wear
Bought in 2021 and used spring through fall on our deck. The tan canopy held up well with minimal fading and the LEDs still glow. After several seasons there’s some wobble at the tilt and a few small fabric pinch holes, but overall it’s been resilient.

Broke after only a few uses
I had high hopes but this one failed quickly. The crank was inconsistent and the umbrella wouldn’t close smoothly; it eventually became unusable after a handful of openings. It also toppled over with the table and base in wind. Disappointing reliability.

Survives weather exposure
Left outside through varied conditions and it still looks good. Sturdy enough for regular outdoor use.
