32" Extra-Tall Metal Raised Garden Bed Kit — 32 in High Planter
Product description
Deep, gardener-friendly height: The kit forms an extra-tall planter approximately 32 inches (about 2.7 ft) high, giving plants room for extensive root growth, improved drainage, and better soil structure. The taller walls also reduce the need to bend when planting, weeding, or harvesting.
Durable VZ 2.0 metal: Panels are made from a zinc-magnesium-aluminum coated steel that’s finished with an AkzoNobel paint system. This combination, marketed as VZ 2.0, is non-toxic and designed for long service life (20+ years), with performance evaluated at an independent corrosion lab.
What’s included: Kits ship with the metal panels, all attachment hardware, heavy-duty rubber edging to protect hands, and 4 sets of bracing rods to reinforce longer or heavier-filled assemblies. Panels arrive with a protective plastic film that should be removed before final installation.
Design and safety: The panels are formed with rounded/oval edges and capped fasteners in key positions to limit sharp contact points. The system is modular — panels bolt together to create rectangles such as 2 × 8 ft, or 3.5 × 6.5 ft layouts — and can be expanded or reconfigured with extra kits and accessories.
Assembly and accessories: No advanced carpentry is required; you assemble the panels and tighten the bolts with common tools (an electric drill with the appropriate sockets speeds the work). Because panels can scratch if handled metal-on-metal, the protective film is left in place during handling. Optional add-ons include cover systems, worm composters, arched and wall trellises, and mesh inserts for pest control.

Too large for our spot
Quality is good, but the assembled bed was much bigger than expected for the intended location, so it didn’t fit where we planned to place it.

Really pleased with the tall version
We installed two in our backyard and are enjoying them. The tall size cuts down on bending. The biggest chore was getting them filled — we didn’t use the bottom filler option and after a delivered load of soil my daughter and I spent 4–5 hours wheelbarrowing and filling them.

Exactly what I wanted
My old wooden boxes had rotted after decades and I wanted something taller to spare my back. Assembly wasn’t hard but removing the protective film from every panel and bolting everything took time. A helper speeds it up. Once filled it held a huge amount of soil without bowing. I used composted wood chips and a soil mix to fill it. Photo shows the bed fitted with a mesh screen and ground cherry plants.

Very happy with the 32-inch height
Glad I chose the 32" model — no stooping to weed or plant. Panels went together easily; don’t forget to peel the plastic film off both sides before assembly. It feels sturdy so far. I bought the larger kit and it’s impressive when assembled.

Well-made tall beds that save your back
The maker claims a 20-year life thanks to the special coating and they included rubber edging and capped nuts for safety. Reinforcing rods keep the sides from bowing. The height (32") is very helpful for limited mobility — it comes to my waist at 5'4". They also offer spacers and many accessories to cover, water, or hang items on the beds.

Big and solid, but filling is a job
So far very sturdy. We layered wood and yard waste in the bottom, then added about a cubic yard of manure and a cubic yard of soil/compost — roughly two cubic yards per bed, though wood took volume. Assembly is straightforward but the instructions are basic. Separate the nuts and bolts beforehand and have one person inside and one outside when fastening. Definitely a two-person task.

Solid first impression
Set up was straightforward and the modules let you configure different shapes. Construction feels solid. Downsides: the top rubber trim is tough to install where pieces overlap, and the footprint needs a lot of fill. We’re still finishing the initial layering of logs and yard waste; the height should help keep critters and weeds away.

Stopped searching — a rock-solid option
These coated beds outperform similar metal kits I looked at. Use the brace bars for longer runs and consider extra braces for lengths over six feet. You can move an assembled unit before filling by standing in the center and sliding it, but panels scratch easily so keep the protective film on while handling. Assembly is quick with a 10mm drill attachment. Customer support responded fast when I needed an order correction.
