3-Pack Cat Cardboard Scratcher Pad — Reversible Lounge Scratcher
Product description
What’s included: three lounge-shaped corrugated cardboard scratch pads, each fitted into a shallow cardboard base that helps contain loose fibers.
Materials and construction: The pads are made from dense, corrugated cardboard sourced from recycled, sustainable materials where possible. The fiber density is higher than basic options to reduce shredding and extend the life of each pad. A framed base surrounds the corrugated insert, helping keep edges intact and catching some debris.
Size and form: Each pad is compact and designed as a low-profile lounge — long enough for a cat to stretch out and rake, but relatively narrow compared with full-sized floor scratchers. Because of that width, they suit small to medium cats very well; some larger, very active cats may find them a bit slim for full-body scratching.
How to use: Place pads where cats already scratch or lounge — near couches, doors, or favorite sunny spots. Use them as both a scratching surface and a resting spot; many cats prefer to nap on the textured cardboard. When one side shows wear, remove the insert and flip it so the fresh surface faces up, extending the product’s useful life.
Durability and upkeep: The high-density corrugation resists fast breakdown, and the framed base adds sturdiness if accidentally stepped on or nudged. Over time some fibers will loosen, but the reversible design and replaceable nature of the inserts make them economical to rotate through the home.
Pros
- Reversible surfaces extend usable life
- Made from recycled, high-density corrugated cardboard
- Low-profile lounge shape doubles as a nap spot
Cons
- Relatively narrow for large cats
- Cardboard fibers will shed over time
- Not a substitute for vertical scratch posts
VerdictThis 3-pack of corrugated cardboard scratchers gives cats a dedicated surface for clawing and lounging. The reversible design doubles the usable life of each pad, and the recycled, high-density cardboard stands up to regular scratching. They work especially well in multi-cat homes when spread around living spaces, though their narrow profile may not suit very large cats. Overall, a practical, eco-

Too narrow for big cats
I missed the measurements. Quality is okay, but they're too slim for my large cat. Fine for small cats, but I won't buy again.

Essential for nail care
I've bought these for every cat I've had; none of them have scratched my furniture since. My cats prefer these cardboard pads over posts and keep their nails in check.

Too small for adult cats
They're narrow. For grown cats, these are tiny.

My cat loves it. The base makes flipping the pad easy when one side wears out and helps catch torn pieces. Good value for a three-pack.

Favorite for our three cats
Our cats go wild for these. Good size and reversible sides keep them in rotation — all three rush over when fresh ones are out. Cat-approved.

Serviceable but narrow
Cheaper than my usual brand. Decent quality and should last several weeks, but too slim for my cat to move around on while scratching — I'll probably switch back.

Sturdy framed scratcher — repurchased
Bought again after earlier orders. The framed base keeps loose bits contained and stands up to bumps and footsteps. Lasts well and flips over for more use. Will buy again.

Always in use
My cats attacked these the moment I set them down. They're slimmer than I'd hoped, but that doesn't bother them. I scatter them around the house so there's always one nearby. To protect furniture, place a scratcher next to the problem area, add a vertical post, and use catnip to attract them to the right spot.
