Lovely for a reading nook

Perfect for tight spaces and looks high quality — shade is metal, not cheap plastic. Base felt solid even on slightly warped floors. Note: arc lamps can sway if bumped; families with very active kids or large dogs should be cautious. Remote pairs easily and sticks magnetically to the pole.

Adjustable and premium-looking, base is large
Very sturdy and fully adjustable neck and head. I like the dark exterior and warm gold interior of the shade. Remote is more convenient than a cord switch. The base is quite large and round, so you may need to rearrange furniture to fit it into a corner.
