1:18 Scale 2WD Kids RC Car with LED Lights and USB-C Charging
Product description
Built to withstand play, the model uses a textured PVC outer shell that helps resist dings and scratches while providing a rugged look. LED lamps are integrated into the body for nighttime or low-light play and to add visual flair during races.
This is a 1:18 scale, two-wheel-drive toy car powered by a relatively strong motor that can reach speeds up to roughly 20 km/h. The chassis includes basic suspension and shock absorbers with durable rubber tires designed for stable handling on concrete, hardwood and other smooth surfaces.
A rechargeable onboard battery supplies up to 50 minutes of runtime on a full charge, though actual playtime varies with driving style. Charging is handled via a USB-C cable for quick and convenient recharges so you don’t have to swap heavy battery packs.
The radio system operates at 2.4GHz to reduce interference when several cars are used at once; the handheld transmitter offers simple forward, reverse and steering controls. The controller requires small batteries (AAA) which are included in the box to get you started.
What’s in the package: the 1:18 scale RC car, a 2.4GHz handheld remote, a USB-C charging cable and batteries for the remote. The car is intended for children and makes an easy-to-operate gift for birthdays and holidays.
Use it indoors on flat surfaces or outdoors on smooth pavement; avoid tall grass and rough terrain that can trap the small chassis. The car is geared toward casual play, multiplayer racing and basic stunt runs rather than heavy off-road competition.
Pros
- USB-C rechargeable with long reported runtime
- Durable PVC shell and fun LED lighting
- 2.4GHz remote for interference-free multiplayer use
Cons
- Some units feel thin or fragile
- Not effective on tall grass or rough terrain
- Occasional reports of pairing or early failure
VerdictThis small 1:18 2WD RC car delivers eye-catching LED effects, straightforward controls and USB-C recharging that makes it easy for kids to use. The textured PVC body and basic suspension help it handle indoor floors and smooth outdoor surfaces, and the 2.4GHz radio enables multiplayer racing without signal clashes. Some units report flimsy plastics or pairing issues, and it struggles in tall grass

Zips along — lots of fun
So much fun — it zips along! Easy-to-use remote and a crowd-pleasing gift.

Easy for kids to charge
My 8-year-old loves it. USB-C charging is simple so he can charge it himself instead of me swapping batteries. It runs fast, so collisions can cause damage, but for what it offers it's not bad.

Stopped working quickly
Broke after two uses. I charged it and changed batteries but only a blinking red light appears. The controller won't pair with the car.

Underwhelming power and lights
I think the build quality doesn't match expectations. Suitable for roughly ages 2–6. The flashing light can be annoying and the motor lacks strong power. Best used indoors on flat surfaces.

Durable and entertaining
Fun for kids of many ages. The car recharges so you don't swap cells, while the remote needs AAA batteries. It's quick, steers forward/backward/turns, and the red finish is detailed. Survived an accidental dunk in the pool and still ran. Great gift option for birthdays or holidays.

Good runtime, minor fit issue
Worked well and ran about forty minutes before it needed a recharge. The top plastic plate popped off and I taped it back on.

Small but enjoyable RC
Nice little car for its size. Range is only a yard or so outside my house. Controls are simple and battery life is decent. Can get stuck in tall grass — it's small — but great on hard floors. Happy with the purchase so far.

Thin plastic broke
Very thin plastic on our unit. My son broke it on his first run. Not worth it.

Pleasantly surprised by durability
Picked it up on sale and was skeptical, but it's been fast and survived my 4‑year‑old, dog, and some ramps. It's about 30% smaller than pictures suggest and doesn't handle grass well, but runs great on concrete and hardwood. Batteries recharge quickly and last around 15 minutes.
