5-Pack 9x12 ft Clear Plastic Drop Cloths — Waterproof Protective Sheeting
Product description
Cost-effective protection: The clear sheeting is an inexpensive way to keep carpets, floors and surfaces free of paint or debris while you work. Because the film is transparent, you can easily identify what’s being covered without moving it.
Durable material with limits: Manufactured from polyethylene, the sheets are odorless and resist small tears and liquids, helping keep paint and water off furniture and rugs. They are not heavy industrial tarps — they are thin, flexible and designed primarily for temporary protection.
Large, convenient size: Each sheet measures 9 x 12 feet, providing ample coverage for furniture, floors, decks or garden beds. The width and length make them quick to unfold and spread over large areas, and they can be layered for extra protection.
Versatile and easy to trim: The sheeting can be cut with scissors to fit irregular shapes or smaller tasks. Use it to protect sofas, curtains, closets, tables, plants, or to line gutters while cleaning; it’s useful for painting, staining, seasonal storage and general dust control.
What’s included: The package contains five 9 x 12 ft clear drop cloth sheets, a pair of disposable gloves and a user manual. The sheets come individually wrapped for convenient storage if you don’t need them all at once.
Pros
- Large 9x12 ft coverage per sheet
- Transparent for easy visibility
- Includes gloves and manual
Cons
- Thin material best for single-use
- Not suitable for heavy-duty reuse
- Tears easily under rough handling
VerdictThese clear 9x12 ft polyethylene drop cloths give wide coverage and are handy for short-term projects. The set includes five individually wrapped sheets plus gloves and a manual. They’re lightweight and transparent so you can see what’s underneath, but the film is thin and best for disposable use rather than heavy-duty reuse.

Great for Protecting Handmade Blankets
Perfect! I crochet afghans as a hobby and finally have them covered. Some I give away and some I keep, and this keeps them dust-free.

Thin, But Does the Job
Used these for painting walls and ceilings. Lightweight and easy to fold. They did tear when I moved around a ladder, so be careful and avoid dragging heavy items across them. I taped three together to cover my large bedroom and it worked fine.

Reliable Repeat Purchase
I buy these again. Very thin, but if you double them up they perform well enough for most projects.

Far Too Thin — Misleading
These are as thin as produce bags. We considered returning them but couldn’t during our ongoing repairs. They offered almost no protection — they tore instantly in several spots. For heavy projects they won’t prevent spills or punctures. Very disappointing and not what I expected for renovation work.

Thin and Mostly Disposable, Yet Usable
I bought this for paint jobs around the house. The sheets feel as thin as grocery bags and seem intended for one-time use. They’re fine for covering furniture during renovations but I wished they were thicker so I could reuse them. The pack gives you many large sheets, so disposable use is reasonable if you don’t need long-term durability.

Surprisingly Good Quality for the Value
I bought these for a renovation and they exceeded my expectations given how affordable they are. The sheets are a bit bigger than I thought, which is handy for large areas, and each comes wrapped separately so extras stay neat. The film is thin but holds up for cleanup and handling, and the included gloves were a welcome bonus. Handy for covering furniture, frost protection in the garden, staining wood, and other DIY tasks. I’ll pick another pack when these run out.
